How can I spend the money?
You need to think about what support you need and plan how to spend the money we will give you. To help you to make your plan you can ask:

• Your family and friends

• a care manager

• an advocate or support worker; or

• a voluntary organisation

• an independent broker (see Hereford Council web pages for more information) www.herefordshire.gov.uk

Examples of how people have used their budget

• to buy support to help with personal care

• to pay for access to community based leisure activates

• to pay for membership of a local social group

• to get back into learning and work
