There are many opportunities to get involved at Services for Independent Living (SIL)

Consultation Events
Service users can make an important contribution by being involved in consultation events. Recent consultation event include PCT Disability Equality Scheme, Disability Equality Scheme for Herefordshire Council and Physical Disability Strategy Consultation.

Induction Days for staff
Service users get involved in staff induction training as they are the true experts and new staff can learn about and understand your expectations, needs and wishes.

Questionnaires
You will sent questionnaires so that we can find out how service users feel about different aspects of the services we provide.

DVD
Service users and staff will participate in making a new DVD to help prospective service users and employees understand our services, as well as being training resources for new staff.

Becoming a Trainer
Deliver training on a variety of subjects and issues relevent to staff, disabled employers and service users. E.g. 'Be the Boss'

Volunteer
Send for a volunteer pack; gain more skills and share some of yours.
